Anthony Boccaleoni (born January 22nd, 2007) is an American singer-songwriter and performer. He has been musically active since 2021 and has written and released 3 full length albums (August, Vanity and In Full Technicolor). Along with writing and releasing his own material, he has been playing guitar and piano in The Beatles Guitar Project since 2022.
Anthony was born in Santa Rosa, California, where he spent the majority of his early life (2014 - 2020) wanting to be a YouTuber. In 2019, after his grandfather passed away and he inherited several of his guitars, Anthony began to look to music as a better place to put his energy. He quickly took on a love for the Beatles, and all things classic rock related.
After moving to the Sacramento area, he began taking guitar lessons in 2021, and after joining The Beatles Guitar Project in 2022, he began picking up a lot of different styles to play music and began analyzing the structures of The Beatles. This is where he began to write his first songs. He also started performing with the band, and performed his first live show in March 2022.
He took a long time to hone his songwriting craft. Writing countless songs in the pursuit in hitting some that really stuck. Lots of these songs he documented under the pseudonym InHappy. The songs weren't always great, but they continuously got better with time.
He finally released his first album in November 2023, entitled August. A group of 11 songs recorded in his bedroom, with every instrument recorded by him (barring some violin and drum parts commissioned from Fiverr). It was the first collection of songs to feel complete. Featuring many ballads, but also rock songs and pop songs and experimental songs.
Shortly after, he began work on another album. Striving to improve. He began really getting down a production style, for the second album 'Vanity' which had a much darker, and sharper, tone then August did. In June 2024, Anthony began doing solo live performances. He wanted not only to show off his own work, but be inspired by others. One such connection led to a piano solo on the song 'Sunflower'.
'Vanity' released in September 2024. The songs fit a much tighter theme, were more focused, and the overall album was much darker than the previous. This album was meant to reference the beginning and end of life, and the ups and downs between. He again produced the whole ordeal in his bedroom. Around this time, Anthony began working on some songs in studio that wouldn't release until 2026...
Production on the next album began immediately again, live shows were ramping up too. Anthony also entered his senior year of High School. Working on 'In Full Technicolor' all the way to October 2025. This album was much more complex, much more experimental, much looser than 'Vanity' or 'August'. It explored many more themes of sorrow, love, regret, happiness, uncertainty, etc. This is the third and final album that Anthony recorded by himself in his bedroom up to the present day. This is also the only album where Anthony plays every instrument on every track.
From June 2025 onwards, Anthony not only finishes Technicolor, but also begins work on another album, and his next EP.
This new album, currently unreleased, was recorded entirely in the studio, featuring guest performers on every song. Though Anthony still plays most instruments on all the songs. The album is also produced by Benjamin J. McClara, director of The Beatles Guitar Project. This section remains incomplete until it releases.
